My trusty Subaru, Gypsy, turned 100,000 yesterday on the Fourth of July. She was a graduation present back in 2003, with only 30,000 miles on her. Now, 70,000 miles later, she has driven across country a few times, spent a couple winters in a garage, and now is enjoying semi-retirement in Buffalo (we walk most places and use her when we need to get groceries or travel). She has suffered several dings and bumps along the way but has overall been a very trusty companion on the road of life.
We hope to drive her for at least 50,000 more miles, but I have had my eyes on some nice four-wheel drive BMWs and Toyotas. Don't tell her though.
